지도 경계: 통계청(KOSTAT) 2013 센서스용 행정구역경계, Map boundaries: KOSTAT 2013 census boundaries via southkorea/southkorea-maps 가공(단순화). 울릉도·독도는 인셋으로 확대 표시. 2023년 군위군 대구 편입 등 이후 변경은 반영되지 않았어요. (simplified). Ulleungdo and Dokdo are enlarged in an inset. Later changes such as Gunwi joining Daegu in 2023 are not reflected.

집계 방식과 한계How it's counted

통계 참여 기기만 집계해요. 앱이 기본으로 보내고, 앱 설정 › 동의 관리에서 끈 기기는 빠져요. 모든 숫자는 '대'(기기) 단위예요.Only participating devices are counted. The app sends by default; devices turned off in app Settings › Consent are left out. Every count is in devices.

  • 확인되지 않은 차는 FSD 없음으로 셉니다. FSD 보유율의 분모는 국내에서 FSD를 쓸 수 있는 미국산 차예요. 중국산 등은 빼고 셉니다.Cars whose FSD status isn't confirmed are counted as no FSD. FSD ownership is over US-built cars only, since only they can use FSD in Korea.
  • 비율 옆에는 항상 분모를 함께 적어요(예: 37대 중 17대). 분모가 공개 기준 대수에 못 미치면 비율 대신 대수만 보여 주고, 지도에서는 회색 '표본 적음'으로 칠해요.Every share shows its denominator (e.g. 17 of 37). Below the display threshold, only counts are shown and the map cell is grey ("few").
  • 모든 숫자는 전날까지의 자료예요. 분석 도구 특성상 30일 사이 값(버전·사용률 등)이 바뀐 기기는 바뀌기 앞뒤로 두 번 잡힐 수 있어요.All figures run to yesterday. Because of how the analytics source works, a device whose values (version, usage band…) changed within the 30 days may be counted twice.
  • 국내/해외를 나눠 집계하고 서로 섞지 않아요. 나라 확인 전 옛 앱 기기는 국내로 세요. 해외는 나라별 대수와 FSD 구성, 나라를 합친 버전 목록만 있고 시·도는 없어요. 위쪽 ‘한국 사용자’ 수는 분석 도구(GA) 집계이고 ‘통계 참여’ 수는 앱이 보낸 실측이라 정의가 달라, 비율은 참고용이에요.Korea and overseas are counted separately and never mixed; devices from older apps without a country are counted as Korea. Overseas has per-country counts, the FSD mix and a combined version list — no provinces. The ‘Korea users’ figure is from analytics (GA) while ‘in stats’ is measured from the app, so the two are counted differently and the ratio is only a guide.
  • ‘앱 설치 누적’은 한국에서 앱을 처음 실행한 기기 수를 분석 도구(GA)로 센 값이에요. 통계 참여와 상관없고, 재설치·기기 변경도 다시 세요.‘Installs’ counts first launches in Korea via analytics (GA), regardless of stats participation; reinstalls and device changes count again.
  • 차가 5대 미만인 칸(예: 어느 시·도의 한 차종, 참여 차가 적은 나라)은 대수도 '5대 미만'으로만 보여 주고 FSD·사용률·버전 같은 세부도 가려요. 동네에 몇 대 없는 차가 도드라지지 않게 하려는 거예요. 같은 묶음의 다른 칸을 빼서 거꾸로 계산되지 않도록 작은 칸 몇 개를 함께 가리기도 해요.Cells with very few cars (e.g. one model in one province, or a country with few participants) show neither the count nor details like FSD, usage or versions, so no single car stands out. A few small neighbouring cells may be hidden together so the hidden one can't be worked out by subtraction.
  • 시·도별 자료는 모델 또는 연식 하나까지만 있어요. 모델과 연식을 함께 고르거나 HW를 고르면 지도는 회색이 되고 숫자는 전국 값이에요.Province data exists for one model or one model year at a time. With both, or with HW, the map turns grey and figures are Korea-wide.

개인정보를 지키기 위해 차대번호·계정·이름 같은 식별자는 받지 않아요. 대신 기기와 차 한 쌍마다 번호 하나로 중복을 없애 셉니다(기기 안에서 기기 번호와 차대번호를 되돌릴 수 없게 바꾼 번호라, 이 번호로 차나 사람을 알 수 없어요). 그래서 '폰 하나 × 차 한 대'가 한 단위이고, 실제 차량 수와 아래처럼 차이가 날 수 있어요.To protect privacy, no identifiers (VIN, account, name) are collected. Each device–car pair gets one number, made on the device by irreversibly transforming the device ID and VIN, used to remove duplicates (it can't be turned back to identify a car or a person). Each phone × car pair is one unit, which can differ from actual car counts:

  • 부부·가족이 차 한 대를 각자 폰에 등록해 쓰면 여러 대로 잡혀요.A car shared by several people on their own phones is counted more than once.
  • 한 사람이 차 한 대를 폰·태블릿 등 여러 기기로 쓰면 여러 대로 잡혀요.One person using several devices for one car is counted more than once.
  • 한 폰에 차를 여러 대 등록해 쓰면 차마다 따로 잡혀요(앱 2.2.2부터). 그보다 옛 앱은 최근에 쓴 차 한 대로만 잡혀요.A phone used with several cars counts each car separately (app 2.2.2+); older apps count only the most recent car.

그래서 수치는 '테슬라 전체'가 아니라, 테파일럿 앱을 쓰는 기기를 기준으로 한 추정치로 봐 주세요.Read the figures as estimates across TePilot app installs, not all Teslas in Korea.

용어 풀이Glossary
  • 참여 차량 — 테파일럿 앱의 사용자 통계 참여 기기(한국, 최근 30일). 앱이 기본으로 보내고, 앱 설정 › 동의 관리에서 언제든 끌 수 있어요. 끄면 앱이 서버의 내 기기 자료를 바로 지우지만, 이 화면의 숫자에서는 주기적인 전체 점검 때 빠져서 최대 7일 걸릴 수 있어요Devices — TePilot app devices taking part in user stats (Korea, last 30 days). The app sends by default; turn it off anytime in app Settings › Consent. The app deletes your device’s data from the server right away, but it drops out of the numbers here at the next periodic full check, which can take up to 7 days
  • 한국 사용자 — 최근 30일 동안 테파일럿 앱을 쓴 한국 사용자 수예요. 통계 참여 여부와 상관없이 분석 도구(GA)가 센 합계(개인 값 없음)이고, ‘통계 참여’는 앱이 보낸 실측이라 세는 방법이 달라요. 그래서 둘의 비율은 참고용이에요.Korea users — users in Korea who used TePilot in the last 30 days, counted by analytics (GA) regardless of stats participation (totals only). ‘In stats’ is measured from what the app sent, so the two are counted differently and the ratio is only a guide.
  • 앱 설치 누적 — 한국에서 앱을 처음 실행한 기기 수의 누적이에요. 앱을 지웠다 다시 깔거나 기기를 바꾸면 여러 번 세어져서 실제 사용자 수보다 커요.Installs (cumulative) — total devices that launched the app for the first time in Korea. Reinstalling or switching devices counts again, so it runs higher than the real number of users.
  • 생산지 — 버전 상세의 생산지는 앱이 보낸 생산 국가(차대번호)를 우선 쓰고, 없으면 차종·연식으로 가려지는 차만 미국산·중국산으로 세요. 못 가리면 구분 불가예요. 다만 구분 불가여도 FSD가 있으면 미국산 소계에 넣어요(아래 미국산 모수와 같은 규칙).Origin — in a version’s details, the country the app sent (from the VIN) comes first; otherwise only cars that model and year tell apart count as US- or China-built, and the rest are undetermined — except undetermined cars with FSD, which join the US-built subtotal (same rule as the US-built base below).
  • Lite — FSD 버전 뒤에 'Lite'가 붙은 건 경량 버전이에요(정확히 14, 14.1, 14.2, 14.3만 해당해요. 14.2.2.5나 14.3.12처럼 세부 번호가 더 붙은 버전은 아니에요)Lite — 'Lite' after an FSD version marks a lightweight version (exactly 14, 14.1, 14.2 and 14.3 only; not versions with more digits such as 14.2.2.5 or 14.3.12)
  • FSD 있음 — 지금 FSD를 쓸 수 있는 차. 일시불로 샀거나 구독·체험 중인 차예요(체험이 있으면 막대에 따로 보이고, 구독율·구독 비중에는 구독으로 셈). 권한을 읽지 못한 차는 없음으로 세요. EAP(향상된 오토파일럿)만 있는 차도 FSD 없음으로 세요.Has FSD — cars that can use FSD now: purchased, subscribed or on a trial (trials show as their own segment when present, and count as subscription in the subscription rates). Cars whose access couldn’t be read count as none, and so do cars with only Enhanced Autopilot (EAP).
  • 미국산(FSD 가능 차, 국내만) — 생산국이 미국으로 판정된 차. 국내에선 미국산만 FSD를 쓸 수 있어 국내 화면의 미국산 카드 모수예요. 해외 화면은 생산국과 상관없이 전체 차량 기준 FSD 보유율만 보여줘요. 새 앱은 차대번호로, 옛 앱은 차종·연식으로 판정해요. 생산국을 정할 수 없어도 FSD가 있으면 미국산으로 세고, FSD도 없으면 빠져요.US-built (FSD-capable, Korea only) — cars whose origin is judged as the US; only these can use FSD in Korea, so they are the base for the Korea US-built cards. The overseas view shows FSD ownership over all cars regardless of origin. New apps decide from the VIN, older ones from model and year. Cars with FSD count as US-built even if undecided; undecided cars without FSD are left out.
  • FSD 샀지만 국내에서 못 켜는 차 — 생산국이 중국·독일로 판정됐는데 FSD 권한이 있는 차. 국내에선 켤 수 없어 미국산 카드 모수에 들어가지 않고 따로 세요.Cars with FSD that can’t use it in Korea — cars judged China- or other-built that still have FSD access. They can’t turn it on in Korea, so they’re counted separately and left out of the US-built base.
  • 집계 준비 중 — 미국산 기준 값이 아직 없는 범위예요. 전체 차량 값으로 대신 보여 주지 않고 다음 집계를 기다려요.Pending — no US-built figure for this scope yet. We wait for the next update rather than substitute an all-cars figure.
